Manufacturing Test Architect

Are you the eager, ambitious and promising Manufacturing Test Architect that we are looking for? Do you want to work in a young and dynamic environment? Do you want to work on challenging, multi-disciplinary projects in a high-tech environment? As Test Architect it is your responsibility that all products that come off our manufacturing lines comply with their specifications. This is crucial for the success of Prodrive in the collaboration with market leading clients that demand high quality targets in various markets like automotive, healthcare and high-tech.

To achieve this important goal you get involved in the early design stages to develop unique production tests for our latest products. As a Test Architect you specify the strategy which allows our products to reach and exceed even the most demanding customer requirements for quality targets. Within the span of a project, you interact with all the departments involved in a product’s lifecycle: development, production and service.

During development you steer a product design for testability and interact with the customer and internal stakeholders to achieve the required quality. You work with our high-end production platforms for white-box in-circuit and black-box functional testing, which are all developed in-house. Moreover, various other tests such as safety compliance testing and pressure testing need to be incorporated. The development of new test benches and test code lies within your responsibilities. Whether the Device Under Test is an automotive power converter or consumer IOT device, you connect product design using Design For Manufacturing and Design For Test to a high quality product.

During early production phase you are, together with the quality department, ensuring high production throughput using process capability analysis such as MSA and CpK analysis to improve not only your tests but also product quality, possibly finding early-life design issues. After production ramp-up and the product enters its maturity phase, you provide support together with the product designer to improve the effectiveness of our service flow both internally as well as customer service.
