Regional Sales Manager: Embedded Computing Systems

As Regional Sales Manager you will be driving new business for our Embedded Computing Systems products by finding qualified leads and prospecting new customers. You will focus on the US sales of our products and solutions in this area. Your passion for servers, industrial PCs, computing cabinets, system integration services, motherboards, etc. will fuel your pursuit in acquiring new business and connecting with your colleagues in the program.

Our computing systems are connected to the machines, tools, and devices of our customers. They make their systems ‘tick’ by performing high-end workloads such as image processing and motion control. We design and manufacture our systems ourselves down to the motherboard level and low-level software to make sure that we can guarantee long lifecycles and seamless interoperability of all system elements as well as perfect integration with the systems of our customers.

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Selling of our Embedded Computing Systems products and solutions to US-based customers
  • Creating and finding opportunities while working with the engineering team to perfect offers and manage customers & their expectations
  • Conducting market intelligence and research to assist with guiding the direction of our company’s strategic decisions moving forward
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Proactively engaging with customers
  • Guiding the sales from lead stage to project stage by working closely with internal programs
  • Approaching customers and executing your sales strategy
  • Working closely with the Global Sales Manager and Product Line Manager to coordinate sales activities and engage with customers
  • Aligning customers and stakeholders
  • Whether it be through trade shows, social media, etc.
  • Achieving Sales targets while focusing on quality over quantity
  • Understanding customer needs & effectively providing the customer solutions with our products and services

Profile

  • BSc, BEng or MSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or any business-related degree

  • 3+ years of technical and/or sales experience

  • Results & sales driven with a generic understanding of Embedded Computing Systems

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

  • Hands-on attitude

  • 20% - 40% travel required (based on pre-COVID-19)

  • Authorized to work in the US (for Boston/Canton Branch applicants only)
