About the role
As a Tactical buyer you will independently manage the operational procurement process for multiple suppliers and Sourcing Leads. Your focus is on tactical support and execution and timely availability of required materials within boundary conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Enter or modify purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Place approved purchase orders with selected vendors.
- Review open PO reports, check order status, modify quantities or due dates.
- Contribute to the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement mission and vision.
BSc, BEng or MSc degree, technical or business oriented
Team player with strong communication skills (English is essential)
Good time management, ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
Commercial awareness and a good judgement
Result driven and analytically minded
