Team Leader Logistics

Daily managing of your work center efficiency and resources, you will be responsible for managing the logistics employee’s daily tasks by equipping them with all the needed “tools” to have the most productive outcome from each employee. Driven in stimulating ideas and continues improvement projects with your team (kaizens). You are an inspiring leader with an ambitious, driven mindset.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Daily Productivity/KPI
  • Organizing tasks and setting Goals – Creating a clear team expectation on deliverables
  • Monitor, without having to micromanage by keeping people accountable.
  • Ensure employees are trained and have up to date knowledge of Processes, Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure a safe work environment for you and your team. (Lean/5S)
  • Managing, coaching, developing and evaluating the employees in your team
  • Understanding strengths and weaknesses of Team members - Create a balanced team.
  • Upholding/Support the Vision of the group and the company.
  • Manage Clocking’s for your FTE responsible Area.
  • Being consistent and reliable – walk the talk.
  • Providing Direction and Guidance – Building a star team not a team of stars.
  • Leading start-up activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage workload/hours of Support engineers setting priorities.

Profile

  • Minimum 3 years managing experienced in a leading role in Logistics.

  • Ability to create connections with people – People’s Manager.

  • Ambitious, hardworking with a high level of energy.

  • Strong communication skills in English Written and Orally.

  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

  • LEAN Orientated.
