At LogiMAT 2023, Prodrive Technologies will present power and control solutions to optimize materials handling efficiency, with a particular focus on its tailored telematics gateway solution.
Visitors to Booth 5B61 in Hall 5 from April 25-27, in Stuttgart, Germany, will be able to see how Prodrive Technologies’ modular approach to telematics hardware enables telemetry to be integrated more cost-effectively to mobile and plant equipment, straight from the factory.
“Many manufacturers, and their customers, are missing out on the opportunities provided by telematics because they are not adding the solution to equipment on the production line,” says Ai-Lin Chang, Global Sales Manager at Prodrive Technologies. “There is an incorrect perception that it will be too expensive, so it is overlooked despite the many potential advantages and benefits it brings.”
Prodrive Technologies has developed a modular design concept for telematics gateways that has reduced the cost of integrated telemetry significantly. This means that OEMs only pay for what they need to meet typical application requirements. Whatever modules they choose, they are designed to high quality standards, for use in harsh environments and with a long lifetime. They are fully tested for use in handling applications where shocks, vibrations, heat, salt, UV, dust, or chemicals may be present during daily use.
With factory-fit telematics, OEMs can differentiate their product with a cost competitive solution that gives their customers access to an onboard system as standard. Moreover, it also helps dealers and customers to manage their assets and save valuable time that would otherwise be spent retrofitting telemetry solutions.
In addition to showcasing its telematics gateway at LogiMAT, Prodrive Technologies will also be introducing visitors to innovations such as its HMI (human machine interface) solutions, PLC and embedded controllers, I/O modules, and DC/DC converter.
