Prodrive Technologies’ AMC-XV7 platform offers flexible solutions for high-speed data acquisition, processing and distribution.
The AMC-XV7 is a full-size Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) that combines Xilinx’ Virtex-7 with flexible, high-speed IO options and front panel connectivity. Many interconnect standards are supported, such as 10/40Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express®, Serial RapidIO® and more, enabling seamless integration within any application that has tight timing requirements.
Typical applications include frame grabbing, image acquisition and distribution, audio/video transcoding, packet filtering, beamforming and real-time ASIP applications.
The design of the AMC-XV7 is modular. Different Virtex-7 FPGA options are supported, as well as different DDR3 memory sizes to tune the device to your needs.
Front panel connectivity can be tuned to support e.g. CameraLink™, CoaXPress® or GigE Vision® for machine vision applications, coaxial RF connectors for radio/antenna applications and (Q)SFP+ for data center, telecoms equipment and digital gateways.
Mid-size and full-size front panel options are supported for maximal form factor flexibility.
