Our test machines are available in inline and workstation variants. Both systems utilize the same test hardware, so components can be swapped between machines.

Interconnect Generation

The files that have been generated by the Test Generation process can be imported in the Interconnection Design Tool to automate the design process of a test fixture. This includes generation of the schematic, PCB and mechanical design with strain optimization.

Test Generation

The Test Design Tool helps test architects with generating ICT, JTAG and functional tests. Additionally, it helps in selecting a test strategy based on component risk. By using the Test Design Tool, production tests can be created more efficient and more cost effective.

At Prodrive we have developed software to automatically generate production tests for both our in-house designed products, as well as our OEM products. This allows us to keep test development costs low, while ensuring the industry leading quality Prodrive is famous for.

Interconnect Generation

Placing hundreds or even thousands of probes manually is labor intensive and risky due to human error. For this reason, we have automated the process of generating our interconnects. Our Interconnect Design Tool automatically generates the CAD and PCB files needed for manufacturing. This allows us to design e.g. an AET fixture with a consistent quality in a single day with hardly any human interaction and therefore keeps the cost low.

The Automatic Electric Test system is the heart of our test execution process. The system is available as an inline and workstation configuration. Both machines use a patented “wireless” fixture concept that improves signal integrity and reduces fixture cost. Each machine uses our in-house developed standardized Electrical Test System, which is the backbone of our test handlers. This provides the AET with an enormous variety of test capabilities.
