Our products are used in many applications demanding high reliability. We, for example, produce gradient amplifiers that power MRI machines, drives that make lithography machines move and image processing systems that help a surgeon perform surgery inside a human body.

As innovative as these systems may be, our job will go unnoticed when our products operate smoothly. When these machines go down, there is a serious problem. Downtime of a semicon fab is hugely expensive. Not to mention what can happen if the surgeon can no longer see what her instruments are doing during surgery. Our job is to make sure the systems run without any problem, so very important.

Design – Where it all begins

Our products need to perform for our clients’ application, and no more than that. So we leave out all other functionality (and related components).

We design our products in a modular fashion to ease servicing. Diagnostics enable early and predictive maintenance, plus they shorten service cycles.

We want to understand what we are doing. We have many design and manufacturing capabilities in-house to be in control of quality, even when we outsource.

This is something we do in-house as well. We have our own equipment for shock & vibration testing, HALT/HAS testing, hot-box testing, regression testing and statistical code checking for software, EMC, etc.

Our designs all follow the same process, which conform to the stringent automotive quality standards and include – if required – PPAP and APQP.

Manufacturing – Check, check, double-check

We believe that machines (robots) are the best option for flawless production. That is why we keep investing in automation of our manufacturing process.

Delivery – The story continues…

Finished products that leave our factory are out of our sight but not out of our mind. Our quality control teams work closely with our customers to monitor the quality performance of our products. The teams formulate joint, continuous improvement programmes to execute our strategy of zero ppm (parts per million) defects.
