The Account Manager is responsible for the management of one or multiple customers within an assigned market. This role involves overseeing commercial and performance development in close collaboration with a multifunctional team.
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager role:
Strategy Development and Execution: Formulating and executing a comprehensive strategy for the assigned customer(s) to achieve commercial targets.
Customer Relationship Management: Enhancing and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Commercial Offer and Quote Generation: Preparing and presenting commercial offers and quotes to potential and existing customers.
Contractual Negotiations: Negotiating and effectively managing contractual agreements with customers, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Budget Monitoring: Vigilantly monitoring the budgetary progress of projects related to the assigned customer(s).
Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business-oriented field (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Business Economics) or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills.
Team player with strong communication and influencing skills on various levels in the organization.
Good time management, able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Able to deal with ambiguity, has a pragmatic approach and is result oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English (Dutch language is a plus).
