About the role: 

You will join the Embedded Computing Systems business line. In a multi-disciplinary team, you optimize the performance, reliability, and sustainability of embedded electronic systems across their life cycle by managing design, production, maintenance, and end-of-life processes efficiently with the highest quality standards in demanding environments like healthcare and semiconductor industries. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform End-of-Life component analysis and verify alternatives on a regular basis 
  • Support root-cause analysis on design issues which are found during the manufacturing (including production testing) of products 
  • Analyze and process product design improvement initiatives 
  • Perform product change management, including change management documentation, impact analysis, design updates and the corresponding testing (verification and validation) 
  • Manage the product BOM and product design documentation, provide feedback to design teams to improve overall processes                
  • Report progress to project team, mitigate design risks and quality issues 

Profile

  • Embedded/digital technology - BSc, BEng, or MSc in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Physics in embedded computing or a related field  

  • Knowledge and experience with electronics, analog and digital circuits, interface technologies, signal integrity, PCB design  

  • Experience with analyzing and documenting component alternatives, performing root-cause analysis 

  • Familiar with industry standards and regulatory compliance   

  • You excel at teaming up within multidisciplinary teams   

  • You turn ownership into impact

  • English mandatory, Dutch preferred
