About the role:
Prodrive’s mission is to create meaningful technologies that make the world work. To drive innovation, Prodrive invests significantly in research & development across four dedicated technology programs. In order to boost innovation and the R&D efforts, Prodrive regularly participates in national and international subsidized collaboration projects. A unique opportunity has arisen in that respect as we are currently looking for a dedicated External Partnerships Manager who will be responsible for managing external relations in the innovation landscape, representing Prodrive across Europe, and acquiring subsidies and grants for R&D projects within Prodrive. You will be part of the External Partnerships team within the development department in our headquarters, located in Son, the Netherlands, and report directly to the Prodrive management team. In this role, you will be in the center of everything that has to do with innovation roadmaps and subsidies. This requires you to be in direct contact with the technical directors of the technology programs, project leaders and architects, business developers and the finance team. The job comes with regular (inter)national travel (10%) and training opportunities. For this, we are looking for a generalist who can communicate with every type of employee at Prodrive while having a natural curiosity and understanding of technology.
Key Responsibilities
Strong interest in high tech innovation, specifically in semiconductor, energy transition and medical applications.
Substantial knowledge of the relevant subsidy landscape targeted at the high-tech industry.
A thorough understanding of WBSO applications for large and complex Dutch companies
A proven track record in writing, coordinating, or assisting in subsidy proposals and projects, preferably by means of a few years of experience.
Passion for business development.
A curious and generalist approach: A wide technological and social interest allowing you to quickly understand and work with a variety of (technological) experts.
A social, entrepreneurial, make-it-happen mindset who can take on responsibility and is resistant to stress.
Strong networking skills.
Thrives and grows in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment with high levels of freedom and responsibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
