We work in markets that set a high bar on quality such as automotive, semicon, and medical. To drive the adoption of, and application of, core quality tools we are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.
The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for strengthening the effectiveness, consistency, and maturity of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), with a primary focus on the adoption, execution oversight, and governance of quality core tools across the product and process lifecycle.
The role ensures that quality core tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and IQ/OQ/PQ are properly embedded, correctly applied, and systematically governed to support risk prevention, process capability, compliance, and continuous improvement. In addition, the Quality Assurance Officer supports the overall QMS together with R&BA colleagues and performs independent audits to provide assurance on system effectiveness.
In this role, you will become part of the Risk & Business Assurance (R&BA) team. The Risk & Business Assurance team is a globally oriented team that oversees risk management and business assurance activities in the areas of enterprise risk, business continuity, compliance, health safety and environment, sustainability (ESG), security, and quality management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as organizational owner and governance authority for quality core tools (including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ) in accordance with external and internal requirements.
- Drive organizational adoption of the quality frameworks by defining standards, methodologies, support, coaching and operationalizing the tools.
- Provide oversight into the correct and effective execution of quality core tools by business lines, product teams, and operations.
- Act as an (internal) auditor in the global audit program of our company.
- Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS in cooperation with R&BA colleagues.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms for core tool maturity and QMS performance.
- Support training and competence development related to quality core tools and QMS application.
Profile
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in similar role.
Solid knowledge of quality core tools (FMEA, APQP/PPAP, SPC, MSA, IQ/OQ/PQ)
Strong understanding of ISO‑based Quality Management Systems.
Experience with internal auditing and audit methodologies.
Ability to challenge constructively and operate independently.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Experience in R&D and manufacturing environments (electronics, automotive, medical, aerospace, or similar)
English is mandatory and Dutch is a plus.
Preferred
Experience in regulated or high‑complexity manufacturing environments (e.g., automotive, medical devices, electronics, industrial machines).
Certification such as CQE, CSSBB, CQA, or Lean Six Sigma.
Experience with digital quality systems, SPC platforms, or model‑based quality approaches.
