About the role
We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive the growth of our bulk rectifier business. In this role, you will be commercially responsible for a specific market segment (Industrial, Medical, Automotive, Infra & Energy) or a particular technology program (High-End Computing, Power Conversion, Motion & Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Vision & Sensing). You will serve as the commercial expert and first contact for your assigned market segment or technology program, identifying and seizing opportunities. Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, you will play a key role in closing opportunities for the company, serving as the business case owner and engaging in technical discussions with customers.
Key responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility for either a specific market segment or technology program within the European region.
- Identify and seize opportunities within the assigned market segment or technology program, leveraging your expertise as the commercial lead.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to effectively close opportunities and ensure successful project execution.
- Serve as the business case owner, taking charge of the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
-Engage in technical discussions with customers on a proficient level, showcasing your understanding of Prodrive Technologies' offerings.
- Approach new customers, generate leads, and build a robust customer base within the assigned market segment or technology program.
- Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure agreements that align with Prodrive Technologies' business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Assess market opportunities, collect market information, and stay informed about industry trends.
- Visit and participate in relevant fairs and exhibitions to enhance market visibility and networking.
Profile
BSc, BEng or MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Industrial engineering, Business, or Physics
Experience in consultative sales in relevant technologies for high-tech equipment
Experience with customer interaction and follow-up
20% - 40% traveling
Result & sales driven with a generic understanding of camera/optical technologies
Take the lead and initiative, structured, and organized
Great communication skills & social competences
Enjoys working in informal teams bonded by trust, equality, and a high sense of entrepreneurship
