About the role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Prodrive Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of components and materials sourced from our suppliers. You will collaborate closely with our suppliers to establish and maintain robust quality control processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold our commitment to delivering world-class products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a thorough understanding of their manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with Prodrive Technologies' quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and production, to address and resolve quality issues on time.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, tracking and reporting on their performance regularly.
  • Work closely with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality non-conformances and prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in the selection and approval of new suppliers, conducting thorough assessments of their capabilities and quality systems.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a supplier quality engineering role, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is desirable.
