About the role
We are seeking a driven and highly skilled professional to take on the responsibility of coordinating production planning for the PCBA production unit, consisting of multiple production departments. As a key player in optimizing our planning processes, improving performance, and supporting operational teams, you will have a direct impact on the efficiency and success of our production operations.
As a Tactical Operations Planner, you will coordinate and steer production planning activities across the production unit. With over 1000 unique products and managing over 100 production orders weekly, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient scheduling, optimal resource utilization, and on-time delivery to meet customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with planners and other stakeholders of each production department, as well as with cross-functional departments and management. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Setup and maintain daily, weekly and monthly KPI’S to make sure you are in the lead of the production planning.
- Generating input for capacity planning and aligning production capacity with the strategic Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) cycle.
- Track and drive the improvement of key performance indicators within production planning, such as on-time delivery and Work-in-progress, ensuring adherence to business goals.
- Initiate and lead process improvement projects, working closely with production, supply chain, and other internal stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement in production and planning processes.
- Act as primary point of contact for planning escalations, swiftly coordinating resolutions with cross-functional teams and ensuring minimal disruption to planning schedules.
Profile
Master’s degree in supply chain, operations management or a related field.
Minium of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in data analytics (Power BI, Excel).
Excellent understanding of planning concepts in a complex production environment, problem-solving skills
Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, while also working independently when needed.
Experience with planning and ERP software (preferably SAP, OMP).
Fluency in English, with Dutch as a preferred additional language.
