About the role
Prodrive Technologies’ System Assembly department is responsible for assembling products and systems that meet our customers’ specifications while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity. Our team is dedicated to precision, innovation, and teamwork, and we take pride in delivering high-quality assemblies across a wide range of product complexities.
We’re seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our growing team. You will assemble and test products ranging from simple to complex builds using manual and automated processes such as heat staking, dispensing, laser marking, functional testing, and visual inspection. This role is critical in ensuring products are built efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards.
We are looking for a self-starter who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with tools and machinery, and can balance independent work with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test parts, subassemblies, and systems efficiently and per instructions
- Perform manual and automated processes including heat staking, dispensing, laser marking, testing, and inspection
- Conduct functional tests and visual quality checks
- Follow all procedures and quality standards
- Escalate equipment, material, or process issues to the Team Lead
- Provide feedback to improve quality and efficiency
- Cross-train across equipment and processes to support team flexibility
Profile
High School diploma or equivalent
Authorized to work in the U.S.
4+ years of production/assembly experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Experience with assembly tools or manufacturing equipment
Prior fast-paced manufacturing experience
Familiarity with MES, SOPs, 5S, and ESD-safe practices (preferred)
Exposure to PCBAs, IPC-A-610 standards, and/or robotics equipment (preferred)
Strong accountability, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
Comfortable using computers for daily tasks
Enjoys working hands-on with tools, machinery, and equipment
Ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication skills (English); eager to learn and take initiative
