Regional Sales Manager: Motion & Mechatronics

As Regional Sales Manager you will be driving new business for our Motion & Mechatronic Program by finding qualified leads and prospecting new customers. You will focus on the sales of our products and solutions in this program. Your passion for motion control, drives, linear motors and mechatronics systems will fuel your pursuit in acquiring new business and connecting with your colleagues in the our M&M program.

Some examples of our applications are building and moving stages in semiconductor field and display equipment, ropeless elevators moved by our linear motors and controller, motor drives for patient beds and high-speed actuators and drives for compressors.

On top of these success stories, we have built up a portfolio of off-the-shelf product lines including servo drives, motion controller, linear motors, and more.

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Selling of our Motion & Mechatronic products and solutions to US-based customers
  • Creating and finding opportunities while working with the engineering team to perfect offers and manage customers & their expectations
  • Conducting market intelligence and research to assist with guiding the direction of our company’s strategic decisions moving forward
  • Identifying new business opportunities and market trends
  • Proactively engaging with customers
  • Identify, engage, and manage new sales channels like “Value Added Resellers”
  • Guiding the sales from lead stage to project stage by working closely with internal programs
  • Approaching customers and executing your sales strategy
  • Working closely with the Global Sales Manager and Product Line Manager to coordinate sales activities and engage with customers
  • Aligning customers and stakeholders
  • Networking. Whether it be through trade shows, social media, etc.
  • Achieving Sales targets while focusing on quality over quantity
  • Understanding customer needs & effectively providing the customer solutions with our products and services

  • BSc, BEng or MSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or any business-related degree

  • 2+ years of technical and/or sales experience

  • Result & sales driven with a generic understanding of Motion & Mechatronics, PLC, or any related technology.

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and in writing

  • Hands-on attitude

  • 20% - 40% travel required (based on pre-COVID-19)

  • Authorized to work in the US (for Boston/Canton Branch applicants only)
