The Account Manager is responsible for the management of one or multiple customers within an assigned market. This role involves overseeing commercial and performance development in close collaboration with a multifunctional team.

Key responsibilities of the Account Manager role:

  1. Strategy Development and Execution: Formulating and executing a comprehensive strategy for the assigned customer(s) to achieve commercial targets.

  2. Customer Relationship Management: Enhancing and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  3. Commercial Offer and Quote Generation: Preparing and presenting commercial offers and quotes to potential and existing customers.

  4. Contractual Negotiations: Negotiating and effectively managing contractual agreements with customers, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

  5. Budget Monitoring: Vigilantly monitoring the budgetary progress of projects related to the assigned customer(s).

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business-oriented field (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Business Economics) or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills.

  • Team player with strong communication and influencing skills on various levels in the organization.

  • Good time management, able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Able to deal with ambiguity, has a pragmatic approach and is result oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English (Dutch language is a plus).
