About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Global Sales Manager to lead and expand Prodrive’ s portfolio of Embedded Computing Systems program. As a leading supplier of image processing and motion control systems, Prodrive develops and manufactures high-quality computing products. We also build custom systems for complex applications in image processing, motion control, and more. Our clients rely on cutting-edge technology, leveraging roadmaps from industry leaders like Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, and Arm.
This role involves driving the commercial success of our Embedded Computing products. As Global Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, setting up customer relationships, and driving sales in key market verticals such as semiconductor, medical, and enterprise. You will work closely with regional sales teams, engineering, and business line management to create compelling proposals, close deals, and ensure the success of our products in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sales and commercial strategy for our embedded computing systems portfolio.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities, targeting key customers in the semiconductor, medical, and enterprise sectors.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customer solutions, create proposals, and manage customer expectations.
- Drive lead generation through close cooperation with regional sales teams and marketing.
- Participate in market intelligence, research, and analysis to guide the company's strategic decisions.
- Manage sales opportunities from lead generation to project execution, ensuring successful closure and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and build strong customer relationships through regular visits, trade shows, exhibitions, and other channels.
- Work closely with the Product Line manager to align customer needs with our product offerings.
- Achieve sales targets with a focus on quality and long-term growth, rather than volume alone.
- Be the commercial expert and first point of contact for the embedded computing product portfolio.
Profile
BSc, BEng, or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any business-related degree.
> 7 years of technical and/or sales experience, ideally in the computing systems or embedded computing industry.
Experience in managing complex sales cycles, working closely with engineering and program management teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ability to independently manage sales opportunities and work autonomously in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Strong market intelligence skills and ability to assess emerging market opportunities.
A results-driven mindset with a generic understanding of Embedded Computing Systems.
A strong desire and drive to excel in your field of work, continuously seeking to improve and grow.
