Prodrive consists of multiple business lines and is a rapidly growing business. In anticipation of the growth or Prodrive Technologies, the Research & Development (R&D) organization needs further professionalization to face all the upcoming challenges and to grow with the company. As such, Prodrive is seeking a Manager Development & Engineering for the Embedded Computing Systems (ECS) business line.
About the role:
As Manager Development & Engineer, you are primarily responsible for growing, managing, and developing our R&D team. You direct & manage a team of project managers and team leaders. You do that to ensure the efficient execution of R&D projects by managing budgets, resources, and timelines. You maintaining high-quality standards and aligning with business objectives. The R&D department is also responsible to manage the resulting product as part of the life cycle phase during manufacturing.
We are seeking an excellent skilled leader with sufficient technical know how and designer mindset to grow our team. The Development Lead will report to the Business Line Director of ECS and manages a total team of 100 FTE.
Key responsibilities
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in development of electronics, software & mechanics.
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
Strong understanding of embedded computing principles and architectures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Excellent communication skills to direct the teams forward
Experience in the embedded computing industry, specifically with system integration, is preferred
A good command of the English language (written and spoken) (Dutch is not mandatory but highly appreciated)
