About the role:
At Prodrive Technologies the health & safety of our people is essential. Our organization is committed to continually improving the health and safety of our people at work and to improve our environmental performance. In our efforts to continually improve, we are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Officer for implementing, developing, and monitoring our corporate health & safety and environmental systems, policies, processes, and procedures. The HSE Officer is a strategic position that is key to enhancing our HSE performance.
In this role, you will become part of the Risk & Business Assurance team. The Risk & Business Assurance team is a globally oriented team that oversees risk management and business assurance activities in the areas of enterprise risk, business continuity, compliance management, health, safety and environment, sustainability (ESG), information security, and quality management (QHSE systems).
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in complex/large-scale environments
Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
Recognized safety certifications such as MVK (Middelbare Veiligheidskunde) or HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde), NEBOSH, and/or OHSA
Familiar with a wide range of safety topics such as chemical, electrical, and machine safety. Able to work in a high-complexity environment (manufacturing, laboratory, warehousing)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
