About the Role
As a Learning & Development Lead, you will be the key link between the learning needs within the organization and providing effective learning solutions. You will develop the learning philosophy and activate that within the organization. You will work closely with both employees and managers to promote their development and strengthen the organization. You will identify, analyze, and translate learning needs based on the company transformation, functional and leadership professionalization and the various roles and responsibilities within the organization. You will also be expected to apply business acumen to align L&D initiatives with the company’s goals and priorities, ensuring a measurable impact on the organization’s success.
In your role, you will ensure that the right learning opportunities are offered (70-20-10) and ensure both leader-led initiatives as well as schedule training sessions based on needs. Your team will be responsible for the administrative management of training sessions and support in making the learning opportunities visible in our HR system (HRIS). Additionally, you will play an essential role in translating our learning strategy into practice, ensuring that development programs align with the overall organizational strategy and objectives which includes creating buy-in and effective promotion to ensure high attendance rates. And more important also ensure the learning get truly applied in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the learning and development needs within the organization. Strengthen the Learning and Development Strategy.
- Develop, coordinate, and schedule appropriate training programs and other learning interventions (mentoring programs, learning on the job etc.)
- Translate the overall learning strategy into actionable plans that drive measurable business impact.
- Manage the administration of training, both internal and external.
- Proactively contribute ideas on how Learning & Development can support employee engagement and retention.
- In the future, take responsibility for implementing Learning & Development in our HRIS system.
- Work closely with HR and managers to monitor and adjust development programs.
- Use business acumen to ensure L&D initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Profile
A completed relevant master's degree in psychology, Human Resources, or Learning & Development.
At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar position in an international work environment.
A track record in building a learning and development strategy and putting it practice.
Experience in coordinating training and setting up learning management systems.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align learning strategies with business objectives.
Ability to inspire and active a learning spirit across Prodrive Technologies.
Experience with leading change.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to independently manage and execute projects.
Experience with HR systems and LMS is a plus.
