About the role
We are searching for an improvement-driven Process Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our factory of the future and a vital role in the production of our high-tech complex solutions. You’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize production processes and flow in the Magnet Assembly area. You will challenge existing processes and their limitations. In our Magnet Assembly area, we produce our high-performance linear motors in an automated assembly process.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase quality, efficiency, minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions and prevent measures.
- Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Leader in 5S and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Profile
BEng, BSc or MSc in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or Applied physics or a related technical education.

Lean manufacturing knowledge
Knowledge about quality tools preferred (e.g. 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, Kaizen).
Hands-on attitude: you have a proactive and engaged approach, where you actively participate and take actions to address challenges or tasks.
Decision-making capability: you are not hesitant to make critical decisions.
