About the role
We are searching for a detail-oriented Process Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our Selective Wave Soldering process. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and process automation within our Conventional Assembly Line (CAL) department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training sessions for technicians to ensure proficiency in the Selective Wave Soldering process.
- Develop and update technician procedures to maintain high standards of operation.
- Define and refine the way of working and procedures for Work Preparation Engineers (WPE) and Support Engineers (SPE).
- Provide support to WPE and SPE to optimize process efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and product quality.
- Implement product-specific improvements to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a process roadmap to guide future developments in Selective Wave Soldering.
- Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and develop control plans to mitigate risks.
- Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve departmental goals.
Background in electronics product manufacturing
