About the role:
We are searching for an improvement-driven Process Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our factory of the future and a vital role in the production of our high-tech complex solutions. You’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize production processes and flow. You will challenge existing processes and their limitations.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with business leaders at our production sites across the globe. Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. Profile
- Output of the manufacturing department: monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure production output meets the target.
- Daily Performance Management: Manage day-to-day execution within your department including reporting to management.
- Resource management: optimize resource allocation for personnel, machines and materials.
- Development of your team: Training and coaching including performance review evaluations. Conducting interviews for new employees in your team
- Quality assurance: understand the quality topics and how to improve the quality of the high complex products.
- Leader in 5S and continuous improvement on the production floor.
- Develop, optimize and improve manufacturing processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase quality, efficiency, minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions and prevent measures.
- Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation.
Profile
- BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Leadership skills: Clearly demonstrated abilities to inspire, influence and guide individuals or a team to achieve common goals while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Hands-on attitude: you have a proactive and engaged approach, where you actively participate and take actions to address challenges or tasks.
- Analytical skills: you can collect, interpret, and apply data to make well-considered decisions, solve problems, and optimize team performance.
- Decision-making capability: you are not hesitant to make critical decisions.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to understand the strengths of the team and make optimal use of it.
- Quality-consciousness: knowledge of quality processes in a manufacturing environment.
