Regional Sales Manager: Contract Manufacturing + Defense Market (US)

About the Role

As Regional Sales Manager – Contract manufacturing you will be driving new business in Contract Manufacturing by finding qualified leads and prospecting new customers. You will be responsible for the sales of our high-end manufacturing factory in Canton, Massachusetts specifically focused on contract manufacturing with additional responsibilities in exploring the Defense space for new opportunities. Our automated Printed Circuit Board and System Assembly processes are setup with the highest quality standards with the newest technologies against the highest output possible.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Proactively engaging with customers
  • Guiding the sales from lead stage to project stage by working closely with internal business lines.
  • Explore opportunities within the Defense space as a new market for Prodrive
  • Approaching customers and executing your sales strategy
  • Working closely with the Global Sales Managers, Commercial Directors and Business line directors to coordinate sales activities and engage with customers
  • Aligning customers and stakeholders
  • Whether it be through trade shows, social media, etc.
  • Achieving Sales targets while focusing on quality over quantity
  • Understanding customer needs & effectively providing the customer solutions with our products and services

Profile

  • BS, BA, MSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or any business-related degree

  • 3+ years of technical and/or sales experience or technical experience ideally in the Contract Manufacturing space

  • Interest and previous experience in the Defense Market space

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

  • Outgoing and client driven individual

  • Passionate about engineering and manufacturing

  • 20% - 40% travel required

  • Authorized to work in the US

  • Salary Range: $75k-$125k + 20% bonus potential (US Location only)
