About the role
As Sales Manager, you are commercially responsible for Prodrive’s Controls and Connectivity solutions portfolio. We are a leading supplier in a wide range of industries with industrial controllers, I/O modules, panel PCs, and telematics units. Among many other applications, our units control ship engines, industrial compressors, and agricultural robots, as well as provide connectivity for mobile assets such as forklifts.
We tailor our solutions to the needs of our customers, working from standardized building blocks to get our solutions to the market quickly while guaranteeing a mature product. We bring maximum value by optimizing the products to customer requirements.
You will be responsible for identifying and seizing commercial opportunities, driving lead generation, and managing customer relationships. Collaborating with our marketing, engineering, and program management teams, you will develop proposals and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Sell our Connectivity & Controls products to customers in the Netherlands.
- Identify and create new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to perfect offers and manage customer expectations.
- Conduct market research to guide strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Attend and participate in relevant fairs and exhibitions.
- Guide sales from lead generation to project completion.
- Execute sales strategies and approach customers proactively.
- Coordinate sales activities with the Global Sales Manager and Product Line Manager.
- Achieve sales targets with a focus on quality over quantity.
- Understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
Profile
BSc, BEng, or MSc in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
3-5 years of technical and/or sales experience.
Ability to translate connectivity and control products into customer-focused value propositions.
Experience in the connectivity and controls systems market is preferred.
Experience with customers in the Industrial OEM segments is a plus.
