Senior Account Manager

About the role
As Account Manager Advanced, you work closely with the Account Director ECS and are responsible for driving profitable growth across multiple key customers. You translate long-term customer strategies into actionable Customer Account Plans (3–5 year horizon) and ensure alignment across product lifecycle teams and Prodrive leadership and capitalize on cross- and up-selling opportunities.
You operate confidently at senior stakeholder level, both internally and externally, while also staying hands-on in the operational aspects of account management.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and execute strategic Customer Account Plans, aligned with Prodrive’s business objectives.
- Drive customer strategies that convert key stakeholders into long-term partners and promoters.
- Identify and realize profitable growth opportunities, such as increasing share of wallet.
- Lead and support complex commercial and contract negotiations, including pricing and contractual conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and internal teams.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with product lifecycle, quality, demand planning and project teams.
- Ensure alignment between customer agreements and internal execution through structured governance.
- Provide proactive reporting and management updates
- Manage operational account activities such as quoting, customer support and payment follow up.
- Keep overdue receivables below agreed thresholds.
Profile
A technical or commercial background; a technical bachelor or master degree is a strong plus.
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with complex, high-impact commercial negotiations.
Strong understanding of contracts, pricing models and commercial frameworks.
Solid business acumen with understanding of financial fundamentals (P&L, cash flow, margin impact).
Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both technical experts and senior management.
Comfortable operating at board-level discussions when required.
Strong ownership mentality and proactive way of working.
A natural team player who can align and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
