Team Lead Motion Control
If you are enthusiastic about driving positive change and eager to shape the future of technology in a dynamic, international environment, we invite you to join as a Team Lead Motion Control.
We are Prodrive Technologies
We are dedicated to creating meaningful technologies that make the world work. We want to contribute to innovations that tackle major challenges in society, such as improving the quality of medical imaging. Besides, our technologies contribute to reducing the global dependency on fossil fuels and minimizing human exposure to air pollution. In other words, we create meaningful technologies that make the world work.
About the role
As Team Lead Motion Control, you will lead a team of highly skilled control engineers working on cutting-edge mechatronic systems. This role is part of the Precision Solutions business line, which focuses on advanced technologies and products for the semiconductor and life science markets. Within this domain, we develop and deliver high-performance cameras, motion components, and integrated opto-mechatronic systems.
You are responsible for team development, technical direction, and delivery excellence. You translate strategic goals into actionable plans and ensure your team contributes effectively to the development of high-performance motion control solutions. You play a key role in shaping the control roadmap, fostering a culture of ownership, and driving continuous improvement. You act as the primary interface between engineering, project management, other stakeholders and our customers, ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also take an active role in engineering within projects, acting as a technical front-runner and hands-on contributor. You lead by example, combining strategic oversight with deep technical involvement.

Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of control engineers.
- Drive the design, implementation, and validation of advanced motion control systems.
- Translate strategic objectives into team roadmaps and priorities.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through sound engineering practices and reviews.
- Foster collaboration across disciplines and promote knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to talent development, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers on technical challenges and solutions.
