About the role
Throughout the Prodrive manufacturing facilities many complex industrial automation solutions, automated test solutions, and various other types of equipment are used to create our products. You may think of advanced robot cells where dispensing, pick and place or laser marking is performed or logistical automation. The following links provide more information:
A Technical Support Engineer at the Prodrive Machine Services (PMS) department carries out planned maintenance to keep all equipment up and running. You will also perform technical troubleshooting in case of process interruptions or breakdowns that need to be repaired. The equipment offers a variety and often a combination of mechanics, electronics, and from time-to-time software.
PMS Department
PMS is a small team that takes care of the assembly of these automated solutions and maintaining optimal condition and repairs during their lifetime. Lots of experience is present within the team.
Problem solver with analytical skills and a hands-on approach
Independent in the execution of work and a team player since you will be in contact with the PMS team and internal customers.
Practical experience or interest in mechanics, electronics, and software is strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents (schematics) and instructions.
A technical education or background is preferred, a passion for technology is required.
Experience is not required, but affinity and willingness to learn is key.
