At Precision Fair 2021, Prodrive Technologies showcased a new innovation that is designed to support specialized metrology and inspection applications: its Proton Motion Stage.
Developed by Prodrive Technologies, the Pico Scaler offers a high-accuracy position measurement solution for precise motion systems. It is ideal for (vacuum) stages where high reliability and long availability matter, and features subnanosecond latency synchronization and absolute position measurement.
MULTIple elevator cabins in a single shaft, the dream of every skyscraper architect and the wish of many people waiting in line for the elevator! Together with our customer thyssenkrupp Elevator we are at the verge of this technical breakthrough. End of 2015 we started the development of the propulsion system for an elevator without ropes but driven by linear motors instead. Using swivel platforms, the cabins can move both vertical and horizontal, which allows them to change shafts and thereby creating a fully independent paternoster elevator.
Bits & Chips magazine featured an article about our PMP software in its April edition. With the in-house built PMP platform, Prodrive Technologies has succeeded in its efforts to make sure software development is no longer a bottleneck. By modeling and analyzing at an early stage, the dynamic behavior of the physical system can be predicted very accurately.
A servo drive, also known as a servo amplifier, is responsible for powering the servo motor in the system. The servo drive is a critical component in assessing the servo system's performance. Servo drives have several advantages over straight power amplifiers for automatic machining systems, including superior positioning, speed, and motion control.
In industrial processes, a motion control system is used to move a particular load in a controlled manner. Pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical actuation technology may be used in these systems.
