About the role

We are searching for a goal-oriented and commercially-driven Sales Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our market presence, focusing on either a particular market segment (Industrial, Medical, Automotive, Infra & Energy) or a specific technology program (High End Computing, Power Conversion, Motion & Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Vision & Sensing). Additionally, you will contribute to achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and seize opportunities within the designated market segment or technology program.
- Serve as the commercial expert and primary contact for the specified market or technology area.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to close opportunities and achieve business goals.
- Own the business case and engage in technical discussions with customers.
- Approach new customers, generate leads, and actively contribute to proposal creation.
- Negotiate contracts, build and maintain strong customer relations.
- Attend and participate in relevant fairs and exhibitions to enhance market presence.
- Assess market opportunities and collect valuable market information.

Profile

  • BSc, BEng or MSc Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering

  • Master the English language -- Dutch is a plus

  • Communicative

  • Proactive and enterprising

  • Experience in sales (not required)

  • Affinity with commerce and technology

  • Authorized to work in the US (for Boston/Canton Branch applicants only)
