Son, April 30th, 2019 – Last week Insyde® Software published an official press release about the collaboration between them and Prodrive Technologies. They announced that its flagship firmware, InsydeH2O® UEFI BIOS, will ship on Prodrive Technologies’ upcoming Zeus server series for high-end embedded computing applications.
Leveraging InsydeH2O’s robust support for the Intel® Xeon® family of processors, the Zeus server series features Intel® Xeon® scalable processors that deliver new technologies including Intel® Advanced Vector Extension 512 (Intel® AVX-512) for improved workload-optimized performance and throughput increases in high performance computing applications. Offering extremely high reliability and long lifecycle, the 1U and 2U rack server is designed for high-end embedded computing applications that include image processing, motion control, and system control.
“Insyde Software’s UEFI firmware was the optimal choice to meet the critical requirements for our latest server design,” said Bas van Bree, Program Manager Embedded Computing at Prodrive Technologies. “Their stable, feature-rich firmware for servers combined with top-notch support were greatly appreciated during development,” added Van Bree.
