Prodrive Kubernetes Services (PKS) is a platform that allows users to easily deploy and manage containerized applications. It is an extension of Prodrive Centralized Management (PCM) which is used for managing many devices. 

Tasks like provisioning a cluster, configuring persistent storage, and creating workloads are done only in a few clicks using the PKS web interface.

The long-term goals are to focus on optimizing AI workloads which will be important in the future

Prodrive is a highly digital company, which comes with a huge amount of data spread across many different applications. At Advanced Analytics, we use our in-house data science platform to combine, process, and visualize our company data. We do this to generate actionable insights about virtually every aspect of the company - this includes our manufacturing processes, finances, supply chain, human resources, and so on. In order to make the best decisions, we need the best possible insight into our (digital) facts.

To achieve our goals in creating meaningful technologies that make the world work, we need the best facilities. We try to maintain these in-house as much as possible where certification allows. This means that we are able to maintain a complete plant consisting of buildings, EMC spaces and much more. We achieve this with a varied team in which people with both an electrical and mechanical background come into their own. As we continue to grow, the variation in work will only increase.

Sustainability is a topic that’s been on everyone’s minds lately, and it’s something that Mechanical Engineer Johan Brans deals with when developing products. Johan joined Prodrive Technologies in 2020 and spends most of his time working on product design. Hi there, nice that you are interested in my journey at Prodrive Technologies! My name is Job (29 years) and I have been working at the company for a while now. As a student, I started part-time in production, and over time I increasingly focused on processes within production, I was given the opportunity to examine how these could be improved. During one lunch break, I joined a discussion with some engineers about gluing components in a certain product, eventually leading me to switch to development. Now I have a unique position as the competence owner of Adhesive Bonding and Material Testing. Recently, I was also involved in the role of global process owner mechanics development, responsible for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the mechanics development process.
