Sonic sets a new benchmark in TDI imaging, combining 8k resolution with a 1 MHz line rate. Its backside‑illuminated (BSI) sensor features 256 TDI stages, enabling faster and more accurate image acquisition even under challenging lighting conditions. All 256 stages can be used at the full 1 MHz line rate with 10‑bit grayscale output, ensuring superior sensitivity and image quality.
For seamless system integration, the Sonic camera connects directly to the GenICam‑compliant Apollo frame grabber via a CLHS optical‑fiber interface. A single frame grabber supports the camera’s full performance, while data‑forwarding capabilities enable flexible, distributed processing architectures.
For specialized applications, a DUV‑enhanced version is available, offering increased sensitivity at 266 nm and 355 nm while maintaining excellent performance across the visible spectrum.
