The Cygnus servo drive combines high power density with advanced control capabilities for robotics, semiconductor equipment, and precision motion systems. Designed for flexibility, it supports multiple motor types—brushless, brushed, linear, stepper, and voice coil—making it ideal for diverse applications.

With integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Brake Control (SBC), Cygnus ensures functional safety while reducing system complexity. Its compact design includes built-in EMC filtering and operates seamlessly over EtherCAT® networks, enabling real-time synchronization and deterministic performance.

Cygnus offers single, dual, and quad-axis configurations with input voltages from 48 VDC to 400 VDC, delivering up to 7 kW per axis. It supports a wide range of encoders, including EnDat, Hiperface®, SSI, BiSS-C, Sin/Cos and incremental types, ensuring compatibility with modern feedback systems.

Developers can leverage the Prodrive Motion Platform (PMP) for fast commissioning, advanced tuning, and real-time signal tracing. With MATLAB® and Simulink® integration, custom control algorithms can be deployed effortlessly, enabling optimized performance for demanding motion applications.
