FAQ

  • What is ISO 26262?

It is the international standard for functional safety in road vehicles, providing guideline to ensure automovitve electrical and electronic systems operate safely and reliably throughout their lifecycle. We have extensive experience and competency in achieving functional safety goals for automotive safety integrity levels (ASIL).

  • What are the typical battery voltages for the mobility market?

Battery voltages are application dependent ranging the use case from the typical nominal of 12V, 24V, 48V, 56V, 72V, 80V, 96V, 120V, 400V, and 800V batteries.

  • What are low voltage dc-dc converters utilized for?

Typical use case, but not limited is to either step up or down from auxialliary battery to power smaller loads such as controls, lighting, HVAC, infotainment, load balancing and or charging between 2x different batteries, and for regenative braking.

  • What are high voltage dc-dc converters utilized for?

Typical use case, but not limited is for power low voltage dc loads such as lighting, HVAC, infotainment, wipers, compressors. In the use of requiring functional safety the converter is then supplying power to system loads such as ADAS, braking, power steering, and or other critical safety systems. Requiring the converter to have diagonistics, fault tolerance, and fail-safe behaviors.

  • What are the advantages of having an integrated precharge circuit?

An integrated precharge circuit protects high-voltage components, ensures safe and reliable start-up, and simplifies system design—delivering enhanced safety, durability, and compact efficiency for modern EV architectures.

  • What are the advantages of having an integrated power solution providing more than one function?

An integrated power solution streamlines vehicle architecture by combining multiple functions into a single module, delivering higher efficiency, reduced weight, enhanced reliability, and simplified integration for modern electric vehicles
