The Quasar series rectifier from Prodrive Technologies is a cutting-edge power solution designed for seamless integration with advanced servo drives such as the Cygnus D3 400 4. Engineered for high performance and efficiency, the Quasar rectifier ensures stable power delivery while reducing operational costs.

What sets the Quasar apart is its bidirectional power flow capability. Instead of dissipating regenerative energy through brake resistors, which is a common approach in traditional systems, the Quasar feeds this energy back into the AC power source. This improves energy efficiency and simplifies the overall system architecture, resulting in a less complex and more cost-effective solution. By eliminating the need for external brake resistors, component count is reduced, space is saved, and maintenance requirements are lowered.
